Capitalizing on the fact that without a rail link, not all Chinese tourists are able to travel conveniently to Thailand to satisfy their curiosity, a tourist site at Huangshan has set up a cabaret where tourists can take pics with Thai ladyboys for just 10 yuan.
Apparently, the world-class beauty and majesty of Anhui’s Huangshan, or Yellow Mountain, just isn’t doing it anymore, so tour operators have decided to import talent from overseas.
The wholesome family-friendly show features a ladyboy performance (under very strict no photography rules) and then afterwards visitors are invited to come up and take a photo with one of the performers for 10 RMB. Numerous parents took advantage and now have pictures of their children that they will surely cherish for all their lives.
Btw, starting in July, China Railways began offering high-speed train service from Shanghai to Huangshan taking less than 5 hours.
