Donald Trump may start to see Chinese manufacturing in a whole new light once he learns that they are backing a WINNER this fall.
Trump and Hillary Clinton are currently running neck and neck in the polls, and also apparently in mask sales figures at a Chinese party supply factory, where their famous faces are selling half a million each. However, managers at the Jinhua Partytime Latex Art and Crafts Factory in Zhejiang expect Drumpf to win out.
“Even though the sales are more or less the same, I think in 2016 this mask will completely sell out,” factory manager Jacky Chen told Reuters, adding that the factory is already beginning to stockpile Trump masks for the coming Halloween season.
This is good news for all those workers who just got replaced by robots at a Foxconn factory in neighboring Jiangsu province. No prior knowledge of US politics is required, as Reuters learned after asking one worker whose face he was working on: “It’s the president of the U.S., right?”
Good luck trying to go to sleep tonight:
Jinhua Partytime isn’t the first company to get rich off Trump, earlier this year one Shenzhen-based company made a splash online by selling high-end, luxurious “Trump Toilets.”
But, as Trump well knows, it is all game of give and take. After all, Trump’s ties with China run deep. His signature menswear line was produced there, his daughter’s very flammable scarves are made there and his son-in-law is building a Trump tower in New Jersey with money from rich Chinese businessmen seeking American visas.
Trump can likely point to this as the best example of China’s Patriots-level record of winning against the US. The masks of himself could be produced in the good, ol’ US of A, not China, and certainly not Mexico, if it weren’t for global warming.
The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.
