Since traffic police in Nanchang city, Jiangxi province have switched over to improved traffic monitoring systems, it’s been discovered that one very special black Land Rover has somehow managed to commit 777 road violations.
For every violation there is a 6 point deduction and a 100 RMB fine, which means our lucky Land Rover driver has a grand total of 77,000 RMB to pay and 4,662 points have been deducted from his license, if that’s even possible.
Traffic police have already contacted the persons involved to come forward to deal with the violations and if the case isn’t handled within half a year, the car will be scrapped, and police will take the case to court to sue for the cost of the fine, NetEase reports.
Some netizens are a bit surprised this hasn’t happened already. “777 traffic violations and they still haven’t impounded the car, what the hell are the police doing?” one netizen couldn’t help but wonder.
Reason #4592 that China’s “straddling bus” might not be such a good idea after all.
