Recently, drivers in Nanning have been having problems with rats crawling under their cars and just having a grand ole’ time with their wires and such. Fortunately, someone thought of an innovative DIY solution.
Cars with so-called “skirts” can be spotted all over the place. Some of “skirts” are built with cloth, others with bamboo; they come in all patterns and colors and are supposed to prevent rodents from getting underneath the vehicle.
Hopefully they work well enough and rats have enough decency to not try to go up the skirts.
Heck, maybe we need some of these for airplanes too?
However, most netizens are not so convinced:
“Seriously, you think that they can’t just climb up if they wanted to?” one web user argued.
“If it’s really that serious, why not organize a large-scale extermination effort?” another asked. While yet another netizen recommended setting a pack of cats loose.
