While many might go to a restaurant or catch a movie for a date, normal activities don’t suffice for this Russian couple. Ivan Kuznetsov and Angela Nikolau took their relationship to another level by climbing the Goldin Finance 117 Tower in Tianjin, which is the highest construction site in the world, standing at a height of 640 meters.
China is no stranger to rooftoppers, particularly ones from up north. They have already taken on the Shanghai Tower, China World Trade Center Tower III, and various Hong Kong skyscrapers. You’d really think that construction companies would think about tightening security at some point.
Ivan had previously climbed the Eiffel Tower before taking on the 640 meter building with his girlfriend. The trip was organized by Travel Ticker, who told Insider Edition that the couple didn’t bother bringing their safety harnesses. They might be taking the “till death do us part” a little bit too seriously.
Thankfully for them, there were no accidents and they successfully avoided security officers.
Goldin Finance 117, also known as China 117 Tower, will be completed in around two to three years. So, still lots of time for more daredevils to sneak up to the top when nobody is watching.
