Finnish symphonic metal act Nightwish is back in Shanghai again. Having last performed in town in April, they’re ready to bring to you another epic night of symphonic metal. Nightwish is the third best-selling band and musical entity in Finland and have sold more than 8 million records, received more than 60 gold and platinum awards and released five chart-topping albums.

4x4x4x4 Holiday Residents Special @ Arkham

This National Day holiday, Arkham gathered many talented local artist to kill the dance floor with house and techno music. Featuring talents such as Deep 19, Max Shen, Miiia and Misloop. Established in 2013, 4x4x4x4 electronic music party promotes the pure electronic dance music culture in Shanghai with Minimal, House and Techno music. They aim to showcase local outstanding electronic musicians whilst simultaneously maintaining good relations with international electronic music party labels.

West Bund Food Festival @ Yuz Museum

The first West Bund Food Festival is ongoing until the 7th of October at the Yuz Museum riverbank. Seven Michelin-starred restaurant chefs will be cooking up a storm such as Felice Sgarra, Fabrizio Tesse, Giuseppe Costa, Corrado Michelazzo, Pierre-Olivier Prouheze, Franck Renimel and Charles Fonte. 88 well known restaurants such as CAPO, Da Marco and Da Dong will also be there. Tickets at the door are ¥80 in the day at ¥100 at night that includes a free cocktail and non-alcoholic drink.

Techno Train @ Dada

Techno Train is derailing at Dada bar tonight with DJs MIIIA, Duster, and Lina K playing techno all night. It is free entry andstarts at 10pm.

Savour food festival @ The Hub

The Savour food festival is back again in Shanghai this year with themed menus, offers, cooking classes and parties. The Hub in Hongqiao is hosting this event featuring fourteen pop-ups and star chefs such as Kirk Westaway, Dennis Huwae, Christopher Millar, Douglas Tay, Alvin Leung’s Bo Innovation team. Most dishes are cooked on site and priced ¥60 – ¥90. You can purchase entrance tickets below priced btween ¥230 – ¥250.
