Woodstock Eating Festival @ The Bund

Czech Music Gala @ Oriental Art Center
Czech Republic’s most noteworthy orchestra, The Czech Philharmonic and Czech conductor Jiří Bělohlávek are performing at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre. The program incldues SMETANA’s ”Vltava”, FIBICH’s ”Concert Polonaise”, MARTINU’s ”Serenade No.2” and NEDBAL’s ”Valse Triste”. The show starts at 7.30pm and ticket prices vary from ¥480 to ¥1680.

2016 MLB World Series @ CAGES Bar

Le1f oozes sass and his his style is deeply rooted in tunnel bangers. Nature & Art @ Shanghai Project
The Shanghai Project Children’s Program will provide children with a diverse range of activities to take advantage of the dialogues taking place within different disciplines. Actively engaging with artist Liu Yi’s “Seed Planet,” installed in Century Park’s Folk Village until November the 13th. The children programs will relate to the inaugural theme, “Envision 2116” through a series of workshops. The main collaborators for the children’s program include Rainbow Education, Shanghai Liu Geng Culture, Pudong Library and Shanghai Daoshe Commercial Limited Company. To be held in and around the “Seed Planet,” these programs shall provide a rich experience in art, music, performance, field activities and nature that aim to inspire children’s imagination about life in the 22nd century.

Disneytown Halloween Carnival @ Disneyland
Join the fun over at Disneytown with Mickey and Minnie in Halloween costumes, life-sized Halloween scenes dotted throughout Disneytown. Watch a pumpkin carver create Jack-o’-Lanterns and get your face painted at the Lakeshore. Don’t forget to join the Halloween dance party with DJs & dancers at night. Lost in Shanghai’s Film World @ Shanghai Film Museum
Shanghainese artist Li Shoubai is proud to present Lost in Shanghai’s Film World – exhibit showcasing around 100 of his work. This is by far the longest-running solo exhibit the artist has ever run. He will also showcase his painting and paper-cut works he has created over the past decade. Ongoing everyday until the end of October, the artist will be showcasing his most recent paintings, of which captures the city’s unique urban energy in the past and present. This exhibit attempts to recall the collective memories of the city’s past and evoke nostalgia in the audience. This event runs from 9am-5pm everyday and entry fee is ¥60.
