Want to go to Shanghai Disneyland a lot this winter? Well, you’re in luck because special seasonal passes for the park will finally go on sale next week.
The new pass will be valid for multiple entries by the same guest from November 12th, 2016 until March 31st, 2017. They will go on sale for only one day — Singles’ Day (November 11th), the biggest shopping day of the year in China. You can only purchase them off of Shanghai Disney’s new Alitrip Flagship Store.
In fact, you can reserve your pass right now by putting down a down payment. Shanghai Disneyland offers three tiers of passes: Weekday (only works on weekdays), Any Day (works any day), and Sunday (only works on Sundays). You can check out the price table below:
The one exception to this is that the passes will not be valid during China’s Spring Festival holiday — January 28th to February 2nd, 2017. Weekday passes also don’t work on public holidays.
Currently, Shanghai Disneyland prices are the lowest in the world with a standard ticket on weekdays costing 370 yuan, and on weekends costing 499 yuan.
The $5.5 billion resort opened in June to much fanfare. Since then enthusiasm for the park has died down a bit with visitors complaining about high costs, long lines and less than civilized behavior.
Still, we know at least one billionaire mogul who will be interested in getting a seasonal pass, just in case he wants to carry out a few more “inspections.”
