Shanghai Art Fair @ World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center
Shanghai Art Fair 2016 (20th), as Aisa’s celebrated art exchange with long history and high internationalization degree, will be grandly held from Nov.3-6 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, continuing the scale as before, presenting domestic and overseas collectors a gorgeous art event in Shanghai as well.

High 5 Festival @ Kerry Parkside
Take a journey around the world through multicultural performances, DIY family friendly workshops, enjoy an epicurean adventure and some retail therapy at the High 5 Festival at Kerry Parkside. Expect lots of fun carnival games and activities for the little ones and performances from Tribes of Asaph, Ho-Tom The Conqueror, The Psyders, JAMMALA and Nansady Keita. Chill out with a glass of wine whilst listening to jazz and classical music. Families can enjoy interactive kids theatre and storytelling, circus performances and percussions. There is no entry fee and the event runs from midday to 8pm.

R3hab @ M2 Club
Fadil El Ghoul better known by his stage name R3hab, is a Dutch DJ and record producer of Moroccan origin. He is performing Saturday night at club M2 10pm onwards. Alongside Afrojack and Chuckie, R3hab is one of the proponents of the modern Dutch house sub-genre, although his style and sound at the time were usually darker, somewhat reminiscent of early psy-trance or gabber compositions.

Vegan Festival @ Bubbly Nation
Shanghai’s first vegan festival is happening this weekend, with an aim to raise awareness on people about the environment, animal protection, health and the vegan lifestyle. You are invited to be a part of this very special event. There will be lots of exciting things happening such as yoga classes, speeches and talks about how to live a healthy lifestyle, how you can help the environment, save lives and enjoy food and samples.

Shanghai Comic Con 2016 @ CECIS
Shanghai Comic Convention (SHCC) brings Chinese fans the coolest pop culture content, including comics, movies, TV shows, toys and video games. Famous celebrities, comic creators and performance artists are invited to attend panels and sign for Chinese fans. This year it will be held at Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing (CECIS) on November 5th and the 6th.

Michael Rother @ MAO Livehouse
Michael Rother is a German krautrock musician, best known for being a founding member of the band Neu!, and as a short-lived member of the band Kraftwerk. On Sunday night he’ll be performing at MAO Livehouse for his China tour. Pre-sale tickets are ¥150 and ¥170 at the door.

Traditional Gansu and Indian Music @ Chair Club
Experience a night of earful sensation from the mish-mash of native Tibetan Gansu and traditional Indian music at Chair Club. Starring talents include Uma Shakar, Bone Lhamo kyap, Bivakar Choudhury and Erhu artist Cai. The event starts at 8.30pm and tickets are ¥120 for presale and ¥150 at the door.

Giving Tree Fundraiser Flea Market @ Shanghai Town & Country Club
Shanghai Town & Country Club is holding a “Giving Tree Fundraising Flea Market” this Sunday. STCC will provide booths to each vendor free of charge and just asking vendors to donate part of revenues to the Giving Tree Charity Program. Giving Tree supports kids all over China and organises personalised gift bags for them, predominantly winter warmths and school supplies. The money you donate will support this cause and vendors who donates the most will be selected to join the ceremony at a Suzhou Primary School with STCC and deliver the bags to the kids in person. This event is happening from 2pm to 4pm.
