You know what they always say, two knives are better than one.
An Australian teenager found that out the hard way after trying to rob a Chinese noodle shop in Brisbane with only one pointy object.
Once in the restaurant, the 19-year-old whipped out his knife and passed a note over to the shop owner’s wife which read, “I have one knife, give me money.”
The 46-year-old owner, incredibly named Hunter Hu, played along with the thief’s request and went to the back room. However, he reemerged seconds later not with money, but with two massive cleavers.
The robber couldn’t sprint away fast enough, nearly running into a young girl, bumping shoulders with another pedestrian and then dashing across six lanes of traffic with Hunter pursuing him yelling: “You have one knife, I have two!”
Yes, Hunter has seen Crocodile Dundee.
Watch the 7 News report on the incident below:
In case you didn’t stick around until the end, the teenage robber fled to a nearby fast food restaurant where he was arrested. Meanwhile, Hunter told the reporter that he was never really in distress. “It’s Australia. I don’t worry,” he says.
This brings back memories of September when a Chinese shopkeeper in Georgia foiled a robbery attempt by three armed intruders by shooting them with her own gun, becoming a hero in the process.
