ACT Shanghai International Theatre Festival: ‘Kraken’
ACT Shanghai International Theater Festival is an annual international theatrical event inviting theater groups from around the world to perform in Shanghai. The festival is aimed at promoting original works with spirit of the age and new interpretations of classics. There are six pieces in total with no dialogue. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are ¥120 each. A beautifully strange stream-of-consciousness idiocy from the master of mime, Trygve Wakenshaw.

And till November 15 the “Supermarket” will attract the ”customers” to experience the interaction of visual form, literature’s image and abstract space. A collaboration between Uncertainty Theater and DA + Lab, works are displayed on the white walls, concrete column and wooden curtain, or even put behind the sliding windows, the exhibition purposefully arranged the art pieces in an ordinary domestic fashion instead of the ritualised contemporary display.
