Blue Man Group World Tour @ Shanghai Cultural Square

Henry V @ Shanghai Drama Art Center
The classic play HenryV will be performed at the Shanghai Drama Art Center tonight with the English Royal Shakespeare group. This is their new edition’s first debut. The show is ongoing until Thursday November the 17th and tickets range from ￥80-380.

Paul Taylor Dance Company @Shanghai Oriental Art Center
The Paul Taylor Dance Company is one of the world’s most highly respected and sought-after ensembles. Dance maker Paul Taylor first presented his choreography with five other dancers in Manhattan on May 30, 1954, starting off more than 60 years of unrivaled creativity. Mr. Taylor became a cultural icon and one of history’s most celebrated artists, hailed as part of the pantheon that created American modern dance. For their two-night Shanghai performance the Company will perform selected pieces from his illustrious career (“Beloved Renegade”, “Promethium Fire”, “Mercuric Tidings”, and more.)

Silent Elegy @ Inferno
Get ready for ”Silent Elegy” in a splendid night of metal. Formed in 2013, and remaining as the only Chinese melodic symphonic band with a female vocal. The band has spent three years preparing for this national tour dedicated to their fans, of which is landing in more than thirty Chinese cities this month. Martin Creed @ West Bund, Qiao Space
Qiao Space over at West Bund hosts British artist Martin Creed’s first ever China-side solo called ”Understanding”, featuring Creed’s signature neons, sculptures, videos, small-scale canvas paintings and site- specific wall paintings.The artist incorporates everyday objects and activities into his work such as cardboard boxes, chairs with a minimalist approach.
