The Pudong Shangri-La is hosting its second annual Charity Santa Run. Combining the excitement of running, Christmas, and charity work, this event is helping children who suffer from leukemia at the Fudan University Children’s Hospital. Sand Song @ Daguan Theater
Contrasting contemporary dance with traditional artifacts that surround sculptures and sand, Sand Song renews an indigenous Australian myth. In the myth, an anthropomorphized brolga, a large Australian bird, steals an emu’s egg. When the brolga finally relents, the brolga accidentally breaks the egg to create a powerful ball of light and fire.

Paolo Nani’s Letter @ National Centre for the Performing Arts
Ever since it was produced 1992, The Letter has attracted international fame and has been showcased in over 34 countries, even winning the European Comedy Award. As a cult classic, this mime demonstrates the same story in 15 ways, such as in the style of a silent film or a horror film. The result is a fascinating and hilarious.

The Market will be hosting the new “Matt and Ben” play at 7pm every night from the 23rd to 27th November – a comedy written by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers. The comedy is a hilarious spoof of one of Hollywood’s best friendships. Tickets are ￥150 each.
