A young mom in Sichuan has been hailed as “Wonder Woman” by some less discerning Chinese web users after she was spotted pushing an electric car forward on the road towards a charging station, while her husband kept pace with her pushing a stroller.
The couple and their kid apparently went out to spend a nice weekend together. However, on the way back home, their electric car ran out of power. Without hesitation, the husband proposed to contact a towing company for help, but his wife frowned at the high cost and insisted that they should reach the nearest charging station themselves.
She first tried to call some friends, but to no avail. Fortunately, a kind passerby helped her search for a station on his phone. She then asked her husband to get out and push their kid in a stroller, while she pushed their vehicle several hundred meters down the street.
While some Chinese netizens commented that they were disgusted by the man for making his wife do all the hard work, many more Weibo users said that they were disgusted at what was obviously a shameless advertisement for Sogou’s map app.
Believe it or not?
