A little girl in Fujian province managed to survive being run over by a car last week with only a few scrapes and bruises after a group of passersby rushed over to lift the vehicle off of her body.
Surveillance footage from February 18th shows how the 2-year-old girl was walking with her family on a small road in the city of Zhangzhou, but strayed off to the side a bit. Just then, a white SUV turned right and ran her over. The front-left tire rolled over her body while the back-left tire came to a stop right on top of her.
The little girl’s mother then flew into a panic, attracting the attention of nearby passersby who rushed over to help. Around a dozen people are seen teaming up to lift up the vehicle and pull the little girl out.
Fortunately, the child was not injured in the incident, suffering only some facial abrasions and bruises. She was soon discharged from the hospital.
