Other vehicles were forced to swerve over on a road in the Hunan city of Yueyang recently when two buses met to exchange some nuts.
Footage from the street shows the two buses turning to meet at the median while blocking at least four lanes of traffic. One driver is then seeing reaching out of the window to hand something to his coworker.
That something appears to have betel nuts, a seed with stimulating properties that is commonly chewed in south and east Asia by blue-collar workers who are having a hard time staying awake and alert through long hours.
The local bus company says that it is handling the matter and will announce punishments once they are decided upon.
