According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple’s next launch date is September 7 (early morning Beijing time on September 8). The company usually hosts its annual launch event in early September.
Like other launches during the pandemic, the event is planned to be webcast, Gurman said.
Apple is rumored to announce the iPhone 14 lineup, which is expected to include: the base iPhone 14, the new large-screen iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Pro phones could get some flashier upgrades, as rumors suggest they’ll drop the notch and instead have a pill-shaped punch-hole screen.
There are also rumors that Apple will introduce new Apple Watches, including a higher-end rugged model and an improved Apple Watch SE. The company is also reportedly working on the next-generation AirPods Pro, which may support lossless audio. There may also be an entry-level iPad with the headphone jack removed.
