Under non-IFRS, net profit was 28.1 billion yuan, down 17% year-on-year.
As of June 30, 2022, the monthly active users of WeChat and WeChat were 1.299 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%; the number of QQ mobile terminal monthly active accounts was 569 million, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%.
According to the financial report, Tencent’s value-added service business revenue in the second quarter of 2022 was RMB 71.7 billion, which was generally stable compared to the second quarter of 2021. Game revenue in the local market fell 1% to RMB 31.8 billion. As the international game industry began to digest the impact of the post-epidemic era, game revenue in the international market fell by 1% to RMB 10.7 billion.
According to the financial report, Tencent’s financial technology and enterprise service business revenue in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 1% year-on-year to RMB 42.2 billion.
According to the financial report, Tencent’s social network revenue in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 1% to 29.2 billion yuan, reflecting the company’s revenue growth from video live broadcast services and digital content subscription services, while revenue from music live broadcast and game live broadcast decreased.
According to the financial report, Tencent’s online advertising business revenue in the second quarter of 2022 fell by 18% year-on-year to RMB 18.6 billion.
